He’s a cutie alright!

This is probably NOT the same breed of Corgi that Queen Elizabeth has as her’s have been known to occasionally bite people! :-(

Herbie Krutulis!

We didn’t know how much we enjoyed having a dog around until Wallis was gone. We fell in love with Pembroke Welsh Corgis over the last few years, and research on the right dog for our family led us back to this friendly breed.

Corgis have the cutest little bunny ears and bunny butts!

And is Herbie ever smart! We already taught him how to wink:

Okay, not really, but just shows you what a huge whallop of cute is crammed into this tiny little package.

We found a breeder who had two sets of puppies to choose from. His mother was a very sweet red named Bridgette and the father was a mischievous tri-color named Rudy. Choosing among the hoard of adorable puppies was a difficult task. Nearly all of them performed extremely well in the Puppy Aptitude Test. We narrowed it down to two different males and a female. Herbie won the Bug’s Bog Lottery!

He seems so young at seven weeks, but apparently, there are enough human “puppies” in our house to have made the transition easy for him. So far, he hasn’t shown any signs of separation anxiety—or any other stress for that matter.
